Heineken have been associated with music sponsorship in Ireland for almost 20 years. In that time, music has evolved from dark record stores to the fully-fledged digital centric business it is today. From Spotify to Pandora, Pitchfork to iTunes, Youtube to Tidal – music is now consumed, shared and lived online.
CKSK have been on this digital journey with Heineken Ireland from the beginning and in 2013 we instigated Heineken’s digital strategy for the social and mobile web.
While other sponsors put their logo on a gig, Heineken have always been committed to helping deliver amazing bands, memorable experiences and unique content via Heineken Music. To enhance the music digital platform, CKSK created award winning content driven website.
Beautifully designed to showcase content unique to Heineken, we designed for a fully responsive experience and to encourage users to share content through their social channels. To facilitate once in a lifetime experiences, we created a bespoke ticketing function, allowing Heineken to reward loyal fans with one off music events.
Within a year, we had grown total site visits by 38%
Mobile traffic grew from 14% to 31% after launch.
